We are seeking a motivated individual to provide programmatic and logistical support at NSWC Crane. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate tracking and submission of customer deliverables.Essential Functions:
Manage and oversee stock record/warehouse functions, including receipt, storage, distribution, and issue of materials, primarily through ERP and IPDM (property/inventory tracking system).Create and process DD Form 1149 (Requisition and Invoice/Shipping Document) and DD Form 1348 (Issue Release/Receipt Document) for material shipments and issues.Interface with customers to plan and forecast materials to meet multiple production schedules, including coordination with field service representatives (FSRs) at receiving sites on shipment status and location updates.
Oversee purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain activities to support job site activities.
Verify materials received against shipment manifests, inspect for discrepancies and defects, and coordinate with procurement personnel on intake.
Pack and stage outbound material for site installation, including handling oversized or heavy equipment requiring two-person lifts.
Track equipment inductions, turn-ins, and repair traveler creation for incoming assets requiring inventory processing.
Support Object Management Number (OMN) and government equipment (GE) tag audits, including walkthroughs with government auditors.
Respond to internal and external data calls independently and within short turnarounds, including same-day and next-day shipment requirements driven by mission tempo.
Provide cross-project logistics support as tasked.
Manage and maintain deliverables and communications both internally and with external stakeholders.
Adhere to established safety standards and follow all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
Experience and Skills:
High School diploma required; technical school diploma or prior military experience preferred.5+ years of experience in Material Movement, Supply and Provisioning, and Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation.Proven ability to complete Government shipping/receiving documentation (e.g., 1149s, 1348s).Demonstrated ability to track materials in databases such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM), or similar tools.
Valid state drivers license required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in ERP, iPDM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and management staff, including DoD civilian, uniformed military, and contractor personnel.
Flexibility to cope with dynamic, high-pressure environments and rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Organized and process-oriented.
