Job Description

Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Campus 1710 Lafayette Rd Crawfordsville, Indiana 47933 A Materials Technician performs a variety of Supply Chain department functions including receiving incoming supplies, inventory control, support and maintain PAR level locations, issue and fill departmental requisitions, deliver supplies, and provide clerical and ERP duties to assist in maintaining the proper quality and quantity of medical supplies for patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm Unload delivery trucks, check for damaged boxes, sign for parcels, deliver stock supplies to Central Supply and non-stock supplies to departments throughout the facility and off-site locations, prepare parcels to be shipped out by courier. Match packing slips with supplies received in order to ensure that correct quantities were received. Receive daily stock orders, restocks shelves, rotates supplies, and monitor expiration dates. Count and restock PAR locations daily to maintain established PAR levels. Fill and deliver departmental daily requisitions. Answer all incoming calls and assists end users as needed. Maintain clean supply areas. Perform weekly cycle counts of Central Supply items. Prepare parcels to be shipped out by courier in order to expedite hospital supplies in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED required 2 years of Storeroom, Inventory Supply Systems, Receiving or related experience preferred
TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
Never or Rarely
