1st Shift (Monday•Friday 8:00 AM•4:30 PM)
Pay:
$23•$31 per hour Weekly Pay Available! Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) matching! What will you do? Make an impact! Reporting to the Plant Logistics Manager, this position will be responsible for properly maintaining records and completing reports for critical workflows and logistical functions at the East Chicago, IN Processing Facility. This person is critical in supporting regulator compliance and administrative excellence within its assigned jurisdiction. Key Job Responsibilities Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, DOT and Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Assist with the inventory control process including but not limited to aged inventory and compliance-based issues Monitor the site's trailer report daily, communicate issues and discrepancies to department management Oversee end-to-end execution of inter-company trailer loads through full cycle Timely manage the completion process for disposal, transportation and general purchase orders Coordinate manifest rejection processes to maintain facility compliance Participate in the inventory control process through scanning with applicable device at various times during shift(s) Other duties as assigned Do you have what it takes? High school diploma or equivalent One to three (1 to 3) years of industry experience preferred Working knowledge of DOT regulations Working knowledge of SAP program and functions Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel functions Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication Ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOP's, manifests, bills of lading Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for Ability to work on-site as described in the job description Ability to read, write, and understand English What's in for you?
