Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Materials Planning Team Lead to oversee and optimize our supply chain and inventory management processes. Your technical proficiency with ERP systems and logistics will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support our company's growth. Duties and Responsibilities

• Be present for certain works orders
• Inventory checks on aged, obsolete, damaged materials
• Quality Checks for certain works orders (Initial setup and expectations)
• Problem-solve issues with the receiving/production team, quantity and quality discrepancies
• Update locations & help plan for put-away locations on in-bound stock
• Perform cycle counts and investigate material discrepancies to find cause
• Coordinate material movements to ensure material and yard stays organized
• Understanding the scheduling process and how to schedule using appropriate materials to backfill as necessary
• Facilitate use of specific products with plant managers to keep inventory organized
• Apply stock-rotation practices to help maintain good material condition
• Support physical inventories, audits, and continuous improvement activities
• Other duties may be assigned or reassigned at any time.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to understand and use basic math including counting. Proficient with reading a tape measure. Ability to read a work order and complete the required documents. Proficient in basic computer skills Education and Experience Prior experience in the lumber industry preferred.
