DISTRIBUTION CENTER ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION
Distribution Center Associate Responsibilities:
The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for receiving deliveries, storing inventory in its designated areas, and pulling and packing for outgoing orders. In addition, the Distribution Center Associate is responsible for maintaining quality control of inventory. The Distribution Center Associate reports directly to the Distribution Center Manager. Distribution Center Associate duties will include, but are not limited to:Receive incoming orders and verify daily paperworkOrganize product for back stock, following guidelines to maintain quality using FIFO and maintaining proper inventory levelsBuild pallets of orders for liquor stores and other Company businesses upon requestClimb ladders to stock product in designated areas of the distribution centerMaintain inventory using available tools and resourcesDeliver products to liquor stores and other Company businesses upon requestAssist in conducting a physical inventory countPull orders from the computer systemTreat vendors and co-workers in a friendly, courteous mannerMaintain general appearance and cleanliness of the distribution centerOperate vehicles in a manner consistent with the Driving Policy of the Company; maintain distribution center delivery truckMaintain clean Motor Vehicle Record throughout employmentOther duties as assigned by management
