Logistics Manager / Operations Manager Position Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of hazardous chemical products to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. This role works closely with carriers, warehouses, internal teams, and customers to manage shipments, order processing, order fulfillment, resolve transportation issues, and support overall supply chain efficiency. This role will oversee 1-2 additional resources which will support similar activities mostly focused on the order logistics that involved prior to product successfully being staged at dock for driver loading. Key Responsibilities Coordinate Smartlink shipments, including constructing weekly driver delivery itineraries and tracking delivery process. Communicate with account managers and customers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements. Monitor daily ELD system for driver behavior and compliance. Maintain constant contact with delivery specialists within your assigned geography including multiple daily check-ins. Escalate safety, compliance, personnel or operational concerns to Fleet Operations Manager. Prepare ad hoc shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, customs paperwork. Track orders from receipt through delivery and proactively identify and resolve delays or disruptions due to back orders or order system holds. Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety requirements. Maintain Salesforce.com transportation management system (TMS), and ERP records. Coordinate temporary rentals as needed based on truck maintenance needs. Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged goods claims, and customer delivery issues. Complete weekly route close-outs with proper costs and roll up data. Collaborate with procurement, operations, customer service, and finance teams to support business objectives. Qualifications Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience 2-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related role. Experience with freight coordination and shipping documentation preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with SAP ERP systems and Salesforce.com preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of domestic shipping regulations is a plus. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods. Occasional travel to warehouses, customer sites, or distribution centers may be required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, if required by the position. Salary Range:

$75,000-$85,000 Based on experience, education, and location. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products, materials, and equipment move efficiently through the supply chain while supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
