In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our supply chain operations, ensuring that deliveries are executed with precision and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Logistics Management:
Plan, schedule, and confirm overnight deliveries utilizing our proprietary online tracking software.
Real-Time Dispatching:
Coordinate driver assignments and monitor the real-time location of fleet vehicles and high-value goods.
Strategic Communication:
Act as the central hub for drivers and internal departments, ensuring clear and timely information flow via phone and digital channels.
Route Optimization:
Collaborate on route planning to maximize fuel efficiency and meeting strict delivery windows.
Data Integrity:
Maintain meticulous records of operational paperwork, driver expenses, and preventative vehicle maintenance schedules.
Autonomous Problem Solving:
Independently navigate logistical challenges and pivot operations as needed to ensure zero downtime.
Candidate Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics is preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
High level of comfort with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Outlook) and GPS tracking software.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for coordinating with diverse teams.
Education:
High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
