Job Summary Develop and maintain a 24-month Production Plan that provides the Operations Management team with an achievable and efficient plan while meeting customer service levels and balancing cost. Develop and implement a strategy to optimize site inventory levels, inventory turns, and product sourcing. May plan and coordinate salt services (packaging) and co-packer production to maximize both internal and contracted manufacturing utilization. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for generating the production/replenishment requirements utilizing the demand signal, on-hand inventory and inventory targets that deliver a comprehensive network supply plan across the supply chain organization, to meet all financial requirements, operational capabilities, and customer service objectives for assigned locations/products. Undertaking analytics and driving process improvements managing a large complex product portfolio. Facilitates exception-based planning to maintain targeted inventory and service levels, prevent stock-outs and balance financial impacts. Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios and develop recommendations in response to actual or anticipated changes in demand or supply. Prepare location/material level production plans, utilizing the demand plan, capacity constraints, labor/material/design constraints, location capabilities/storage, and costs per required planning cadence. Identify risk and opportunity through analytics and develop scenarios and recommended actions to support them. Drive continuous improvement and optimization across cost, efficiencies, and process. Monitor and revise production needs to maximize customer service levels while minimizing risk for excess inventory and added cost. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations Management in times of constrained capacity to develop priorities and action plans in order to fulfill customer needs. Lead / participate in cross functional projects such as Packaging Changes, New Product launches, Seasonal Event Planning, etc. to develop, manage and communicate a timeline and supply plan. Compile and communicate management reports detailing issues, results and opportunities in the co-packer supplier area. Review and drive KPI performance as assigned.
