Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Scheduling and Logistics Specialist to drive efficiency across our supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate procurement, transportation, warehouse management, and inventory control processes to ensure seamless product flow from suppliers to customers. Your expertise will help optimize logistics strategies, improve process efficiencies, and support cross-functional teams in delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence supply chain performance through data-driven decision-making and innovative problem-solving. Responsibilities Accurately schedule inbound and outbound logistics and have experience load planning Manage warehouse distribution activities, including stocking, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Oversee procurement processes by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to secure optimal pricing and service levels. Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) for freight planning, shipping logistics, and international trade compliance, including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies, implementing process improvements to enhance overall performance. Utilize data collection tools like SAP and Tableau for supply chain analytics, providing actionable insights on inventory management, category management, and profit & loss analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as customer service, production planning, and vendor management to streamline order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems (IMS), ERP platforms like AS400 or SAP. Hands-on warehouse experience including materials handling, manual handling techniques Knowledge of transportation planning, freight management including 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), shipping & receiving procedures, and trade compliance regulations. Strong negotiation skills coupled with vendor management experience to optimize sourcing strategies. Familiarity with procurement processes such as Scheduling and planning strategies, and supplier relationship management. Ability to analyze complex data sets for process improvement opportunities while maintaining high standards of customer service and logistics accuracy.
