Purpose of the Role The Material Controller II plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate availability of materials required to support Worley's construction, installation, and engineering activities. This role ensures materials are effectively controlled, received, stored, and distributed to enable seamless project execution. It supports Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable solutions by ensuring material management processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and product specifications to determine material requirements for construction and installation activities.
Manage and maintain material control systems to ensure accurate tracking, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to align material availability with project schedules and sustainability objectives.
Validate inventory levels, adjust material quantities, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and specifications.
Document material requirements comprehensively, including all relevant data necessary for procurement and order processing.
Collaborate with site teams to ensure materials are delivered in the correct quantities and within required timelines.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and solutions-driven work environment.
Identify issues related to material control and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure that all material control activities comply with Worley's safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
