Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Material Planner to support customer requirements and supply chain operations. This position is responsible for processing and modifying orders, responding to customer inquiries, addressing complaints, monitoring supply chain activity, and identifying shortages or overages. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience working with ERP systems, and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively across multiple channels. Position is 1st Shift, 8-hours shift Monday - Friday. Pay is $18-20 based on experience. Key Responsibilities Manage customer requirements and complaints with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude. Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various communication channels. Process and modify orders, forms, applications, and requests based on customer requirements. Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints. Develop knowledge of company products to effectively answer customer questions. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints. Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary. Monitor the supply chain and identify shortages and overages. Analyze system data to support planning and supply chain activities. Escalate customer complaints and supply chain issues when appropriate. Provide feedback regarding the efficiency of the customer service process. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience working with computers and ERP systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with stressed or upset customers. Ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and other stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
