Job Description
Crete Carrier Corporation is seeking professional Truck Drivers to haul freight safely and on time across regional and over-the-road routes. In this role, you will operate late-model tractors and dry van or refrigerated trailers, conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections, and follow all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies. Drivers manage electronic logs, secure and protect cargo, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment for regional and over-the-road freight hauls Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance checks Comply with all FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and company safety policies Use electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record hours of service Secure, protect, and verify cargo, paperwork, and load documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Plan routes and manage time to meet delivery and pickup schedules Report mechanical issues, incidents, and delays promptly Maintain clean, professional equipment and uphold company image Support a driver-first, safety-focused, respectful team culture Required Skills Tractor-trailer operation
