Job Description

Role Purpose Supply Chain Interns support the procurement, governance, and analytics functions within Cleco's Supply Chain organization. This internship provides exposure to how materials, services, data, and business processes work together to support a utility company. You will collaborate with Supply Chain professionals on projects that improve efficiency, support business operations, and enhance data-driven decision making. Key Responsibilities Assist with procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, and requisition processing. Support Supply Chain reporting and analytics by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. Help monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for process improvement. Assist with documentation updates, business process reviews, and compliance tracking. Participate in projects involving supply chain systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows. Collaborate with internal customers and Supply Chain team members to support day-to-day business needs. Present project findings to leadership at the conclusion of the internship. Qualifications Required Education, Skills & Experience Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Planning and project management skills Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, presenting ideas and opinions in a respective and collegial manner Key Competencies
