About the Role As a Commercial Transport Specialist, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by ensuring the timely and secure delivery of heavy equipment to various job sites. You will leverage modern fleet management technology to optimize your routes and provide exceptional service to our clients, acting as a key representative of our organization in the field. Responsibilities Execute safe and efficient transport of heavy machinery while strictly adhering to all state and federal Department of Transportation regulations. Navigate complex loading and unloading environments with precision, coordinating effectively with ground crews to ensure site safety. Manage the end-to-end documentation process, including bills of lading and delivery invoices, to maintain accurate operational records. Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and peak performance. Optimize logistical workflows by strategically arranging trailers and loads to maximize efficiency during transit. Communicate professionally with site managers and customers to ensure a seamless delivery experience and high satisfaction. Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Minimum age of 21 years old. Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and DOT-regulated drug screenings. Current DOT medical certification. Strong focus on safety protocols and situational awareness in high-traffic environments. Preferred Skills Prior experience in heavy equipment hauling or construction logistics. Proficiency with digital fleet tracking and electronic logging devices. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on the road. Excellent interpersonal communication skills for professional customer interaction.
