Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics and Planning Support Specialist to join our team. The Logistics & Planning Support Specialist will responsible for supporting logistics, production planning, inventory control, procurement coordination, and shipping activities to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the organization. This role collaborates closely with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to maintain schedules, monitor inventory levels, coordinate shipments, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Assist with production planning activities to support customer delivery requirements. Prepare and send RFQ (Request for Quote) inquiries to our production partner Perfom accurate data entry into our quoting system in order to generate a final quote to the customer Work directly with PM (Production Manager) and production partners in answering questions related to quoting, purchasing and shipping. Monitor open customer orders and communicate schedule updates to internal teams. Support daily production schedules by maintaining accurate planning information within the ERP system. Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping to help ensure customer orders are completed and shipped on time. Review production schedules and identify potential scheduling conflicts or material shortages for escalation. Assist with expediting critical customer orders and communicating priority changes to the appropriate departments. Maintain accurate order status, scheduling, and logistics information within the ERP system. Support shipping and logistics documentation to ensure timely customer deliveries. Assist with inventory and material planning activities to support production schedules. Generate and distribute reports related to production schedules, customer orders, backlog, and delivery performance. Work closely with Customer Service to ensure customer expectations are aligned with production capabilities and delivery schedules. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, logistics, and operational efficiency. Participate in cross-functional meetings to support planning, scheduling, and customer delivery objectives. Other duties may be assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Analyze production and inventory trends to support forecast accuracy. Assist with KPI tracking, including on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, backlog management, and schedule adherence. Support process documentation and work instruction updates related to planning and logistics activities. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule and evening hours to meet customer requirements. Travel (when required) for company meetings.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, logistics, customer service, inventory control, procurement support, or supply chain operations preferred. Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing processes preferred. Experience supporting customer orders, scheduling, inventory management, or shipping operations is highly desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong sense of urgency and customer service focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple departments. Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior experience in an electronics, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
