Description:
Oversee the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure all deadlines are met. Plan, schedule and monitor production of products. Determine production capacity and limits. Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure both are in place for production. Report on the production status and any production issues to the Supervisor. Liaise on production disruptions and productivity problems and recommend solutions to maintain or mitigate impact to the schedule. Utilize data to help drive a schedule that improves productivity and cost. Review backlog and make recommendations to adjust resources as needed to maintain profitability goals,
Requirements:
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. Ability to interact well with internal and external customers. In-depth knowledge of ERP software and Excel. Strong analytical skills. 3 years production planning experience in a related industry
