With an annual production over 17,000 barrels, we are committed to delivering an outstanding experience to our customers while maintaining the highest standards in brewing and operations.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping and receiving, warehouse management, inventory control, taproom deliveries, and distributor communication. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving:

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies. Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all shipments, including bills of lading. Move finished goods and raw materials, and prepped food items between facilities using the company box trucks.

Inventory Management:

Conduct inventory counts at the end of each month and update the numbers in the brewery management software. Post returns and orders timely to ensure inventory remains accurate. Work with the taproom and kitchen teams to ensure their inventory counts are completed and entered.

Warehouse Management:

Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse efficiency, safety, cleanliness, and organization. Coordinate with production, taproom, and sales teams to fulfill orders accurately and on schedule. Consistently organize the cooler and warehouse to maximize space, maintain product accessibility, and support efficient order fulfillment. Rotate inventory using first-in, first-out practices and monitor product dates to protect product quality. Maintain clear aisles, loading areas, and workspaces and promptly address safety or sanitation concerns.

Distributor Communication:

Act as a point of contact for our distribution partners. Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics to ensure accurate distribution of products for pickups and returns. Ensure invoices have accurate pricing and are sent to the distributor from the brewery management software when orders are picked up.

Finished Goods Allocations:

Create the finished goods allocations based on distributor requests and taproom orders as well as distributor and taproom forecasts. Work with the sales team to ensure the allocation priorities align with our sales goals.

Truck Maintenance:

Manage the maintenance of the company trucks. Coordinate repairs and improvements as needed and procure a rental truck during downtime. Packaging Assist in canning, kegging, and box packing when needed. Support the company in whatever capacity is needed across the business, whether that is within the Operations team or cross-functionally stepping in to keep the company performing well in other areas.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse management, or facilities coordination, preferably in the beverage industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to shipping and safety.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with inventory management software like EKOS preferred.

Reporting Structure:

The Logistics Coordinator will report to the Packaging and Logistics Manager, working closely with other members of the operations team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of all logistics and facility management activities.
