$36/yr Posted 12/2025 Job Description Overview $36/yr Job Summary Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking qualified applicants for a General Equipment Specialist in support of Naval Sea Systems Command's (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requirements at their research facility in Bethesda, MD. Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government. Define the nature and extent of problems. Analyze relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures. Interview managers and employees while observing their operations. Develop solutions to problems. In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture. Prepare and solve mathematical models. Report findings and recommendations to the Government. Reports are usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common. For some projects, management analysts are retained to help implement the suggestions they have made. Requirements Individual shall possess a Bachelor's of Science or Arts Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field from an accredited college or university with experience as outlined below. In lieu of the education requirement, individuals shall have an additional five (5) years+ of prior military, Department of Defense or related business experience related to Plant Property & Equipment / Asset Management. The experience shall include five (5) years+ experience with responsibilities for plant property & equipment/asset management accountability, information of property value, equipment utilization, accounting depreciation data, serial number tracking, and property management. Relevant experience with responsibilities for managing or leading a team in producing quality deliverables is preferred. Working knowledge of Plant Property & Equipment / Asset Management policies and regulations including FMR, FAR, and DoD Instruction 5000.64 is desired.
