Day, 6 AM to 2:30 PM (flexible with delivery schedules) Summary The Logistic Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by receiving, storing, handling, transporting, and distributing raw materials and finished goods. This position ensures inventory accuracy, supports production, fulfills customer orders, and maintains a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities The following duties are considered essential functions of this position. An employee must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Receive, inspect, unload, verify, and store incoming materials, products, and shipments according to company procedures and packing lists. Pull materials from inventory to support production schedules and customer orders. Pick, pack, stage, and prepare finished goods for shipment, ensuring orders are accurate and completed on time. Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment. Load, unload, secure materials and finished products onto trucks for shipping and receiving. Maintain accurate inventory by identifying ,labeling, documenting, and recording inventory transactions, locations, shortages, and movements within inventory systems. Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits. Open containers, sort, inspect, organize, and properly store materials and supplies. Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns and promptly report issues to management. Complete pre-use inspections of forklifts and other warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needs. Utilize warehouse management systems, shipping documentation, and basic computer applications to accurately record warehouse activities. Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, inventory, loading, and staging areas. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and operational guidelines. Collaborate with supervisors, production personnel, drivers, and other departments to support daily operational goals. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and production operations. Deliver materials to production departments and remove finished products promptly to minimize downtime and maintain efficient workflow. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record preferred. Previous warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial equipment preferred. Forklift certification or ability to become certified. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as business needs require. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive movements. Ability to regularly lift, carry, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
