Logistics Clerk

Summary Support the smooth flow of our transportation and customer fulfillment operations. As a Logistics Clerk, you will play a key role in coordinating appointment scheduling, managing late coding, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure efficient daily operations. Working closely with internal teams and customers, you will help maintain accurate scheduling, resolve issues quickly, and contribute to a seamless logistics process. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing outstanding service while keeping operations running efficiently. This position has a target wage of $22.00 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available. Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Stand in for team members in any appointment scheduling or late-coding capacity.
  • Support and assist the Transportation Logistics Supervisor in producing scheduling efficiencies.
  • Support the reduction of appointment misses and issues.
  • Assist the Perdue appointment team with appointment scheduling, late coding, and customer service.
  • Schedule appointments in any capacity as directed by management.
  • Manage appointment issues and identify trends and areas of opportunity.
  • Produce various late-code-related reports as needed.
  • Support the customer service team in any capacity as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
    Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong systems aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of Transportation Operations and Supply Chain Management.
    Preferred Education and Experience
  • College degree in a related field. Experience may substitute for education.
    Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
