Job Description
Job Overview:
This role will be primarily responsible for handling and ensuring smooth functioning of the production schedules. Coordinating with the Production Manager and Planning & Fulfillment Manager to develop schedules. A successful candidate should be able to review and adjust the schedule as, and when, required to meet the customers' needs. Also, ensure that the production resources, including inventory, are arranged beforehand and be able to identify and resolve any requests in the production process. Should be familiar with various production planning and computer software. Organizational skills are a must to ensure smooth scheduling. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks will be an added benefit.Responsibilities:
Creating, maintaining, and updating production schedules Resolving planning related issues in the production process Identifying and suggesting improvements Ensuring that the production schedules are provided on a timely basis Adjusting the production schedules as required Preparing and presenting production reports Coordinating with the Production Manager to plan production schedules Considering sales forecast and employee capacity when developing production schedules Other duties as requiredYour Background:
Working knowledge of the production process Familiarity with computer software such as Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks A team player and ability to work collaboratively Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual Ability to manage deadlines and stressful situationsPreferred Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Production Scheduler, Production Planner, Production worker or a similar role in the Production department SAP or ERP experience is a plus Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position.Rate of Pay:
$28- $35 per hour
