What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Responsibilities for Porter (Snow Plowing): Various other tasks including but not limited to yard work, snow plowing, shop cleaning, trash detail and more. Drive and operate various types of snow removal equipment, including plow trucks, snow blowers, and front-end loaders. Remove snow and ice from parking lot and walkways. Hours will vary and often require working during early mornings, late nights and or weekends and in hazardous weather conditions. Assist technicians by removing oil after oil changes, air filters, fluids, cleaners, etc. Assist with other projects as needed Required Skills for
