Compounding Solutions is a leading manufacturer of custom thermoplastic materials, primarily supporting the medical device industry. Our manufacturing site in Lewiston Maine supplies the largest medical companies located here in the US and in 29 countries worldwide. The materials we produce impact on the quality of people's lives. We are seeking for a motivated individual who sill be able to support the rapid growth of our manufacturing capabilities to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator manages the day-to-day shipping of all products. Responsibilities Ensure correct shipment of domestic and international orders. Effectively communicating with all departments. Manage and update daily shipping lists. Create necessary paperwork that is needed to ship according to each customer order (i.e. Bill of Lading, UPS/Fedex label, customer documents. Coordinate carriers based on customer order requirements. With department manager, help address and resolve shipment issues. Train and function as a back-up to the Shipping Logistics Team Member. Flow to shipping when instructed to prepare final packaging on a needed basis. Monitoring and reporting carrier performance. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and data analysis. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for phone etiquette, internal communication, dispatching coordination, and customer interactions.
Pay:
$21.00 - $31.00 per hour
