Job Description

Position Summary This position manages customer demand and supplier procurement. which can involve but not limited to the following: gathering, analyzing and validating dates to generate forecasts, monthly reports. You will be required to interact with all departments within the organization, including GSBG in Austria.
Key Responsibilities Customer:
Process customer demand and EDI requirements Manage day-to-day communication with customers' Material Planner to meet customer requirements. Process customer shipments including advance shipping notices Assist with customer order acknowledgements, follow-up, and shipping method
Supplier:
Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and evaluate market trends Plan and procure material to be aligned with MRP requirements Generate monthly forecasts for supply base Monitor planned shipments and collaborate with customer, GSBG and GUSA production team Manage all domestic and international incoming shipments from Europe in cooperation with GSBG Work with team members to develop & execute sourcing strategy
Customer/Supplier :
Ability to communicate/Interact with Sales, Production, Accounting and GSBG teams. Assist and participate in new projects/launches Provide administrative support to management Coordinate trade shows and special events shipping Some travel may be needed Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned MRP Required Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related capacity. Able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters Work independently on various projects, from conception to completion Effective communication and telephone etiquette skills Ability to positively interact within a variety of diverse situations. Solid working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office software Required Education High School Diploma/GED 3+ years of proven experience. Physical Demands Required to sit or stand and move about the facility Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 lbs. Required to use safety glasses while performing specific tasks or while in specific areas of the plant Combination of office and plant environment Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
