Job Description

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
MixPro uses state-of-the-art technology to create mixing and agitation solutions which deliver reliability, innovation and proven quality. We have built our reputation as leaders in industrial agitation solutions by providing quality products that include durable, long-lasting mixers, agitators, aerators and flocculators for fluid process systems. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for a diverse range of functions relating to internal and external logistics. It is the centerpiece of logistics coordination. The position encompasses functions and responsibilities typically associated with arranging shipment, inventory control, import/export, customs and brokerage documentation, receiving and invoicing.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Tag and label goods for shipment. Arrange and coordinate shipments to customers within the expected timeframe. Prepare and verify critical export/import documents like Bills of Lading and Pro forma invoices and commercial invoices etc. Add and update shipped orders to the MixPro ® Order tracking System. Generate invoices for accounting department to process. Assist with inventory count. Maintain proper shipping documentation. Keep current with ever-changing international shipping & logistics regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
3 - 5 years related experience in a logistics or supply chain role. Working knowledge of international and domestic transport regulations. Community college diploma in Logistics and/or supply chain preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer proficiency. (Word, Windows, Excel, keyboard) Strong experience with M3ERP system or similar. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Noise due to the close proximity of the production department. Dust build-up over time due to close proximity of the production department. Eyestrain (computer work). Ergonomic strain (associated with desk work). Noise from fabrication environment Regular walking on the shop floor
