The Logistics Planner serves as the main coordinator for distribution of all outbound finished goods shipping to our customers utilizing our TMS (E2open), outside contract carriers, LTL carriers, and 3rd party warehouses. The Logistics Planner plays a critical role in the coordination of various modes of transportation and warehouse activities to ensure the use of cost-effective rates and dependable carriers for timely and accurate delivery of the Company's finished goods. The person in this position understands the necessity for accuracy, attention to detail and the importance the function has in the ability of the Company to achieve its goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma is required. Degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in supply chain or related role preferred. Strong understanding of transportation, supply chain, and logistics principles. Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Ability to learn and effectively use inventory and transportation management systems and related applications. Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes and procedures.
