Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics operations. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse distribution processes, support customer satisfaction, and uphold our high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities Manage shipping logistics by preparing, packaging, and labeling orders accurately for dispatch Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages or discrepancies, and document all deliveries using warehouse management systems Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks Conduct inventory management tasks including stock counting, data entry into inventory software, and updating ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like AS400 or MRP systems Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade requirements during shipping processes Assist with order picking & packing, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit Maintain detailed records of all shipping & receiving activities for audit purposes Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with a focus on shipping & receiving Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance standards Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate inventory tracking Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment Prior warehouse experience in stocking, packaging, order picking & packing is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
