JOB SUMMARY

The Production Planner develops and maintains production schedules for perennial plant programs, ensuring accurate planning from start to finish. This role works closely with Sales, Growing, and Operations to align production needs with customer demand, space, and inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, maintain, and update production plans for container sales using sales and operational inputs. Coordinate plan allocations across facilities. Manage daily plan changes with Sales and Growing teams. Monitor plant availability and adjust schedules based on customer or program changes. Track surplus and orphan inventories and provide data to support solutions. Maintain and update production "recipes" and growing requirements in the system. Generate reports and maintain production data on a rolling, multi-year basis. Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of experience in production or material planning; greenhouse or perennial plant experience preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills. Proficient in Excel applications related to planning and data management. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detailed Oriented.
