S_180522 We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our client's production control team in Duluth, MN. In this role, you will perform key planning and scheduling functions to ensure accurate capacity loading, smooth new product introductions, and on-time shipment schedules to meet customer expectations.

Work hours:

Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Capacity:

Plan production schedules, manage labor loading, and analyze capacity requirements on a daily basis.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Lead daily planning and New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings to align resources and capacity needs.

Customer Communication:

Provide weekly status updates to customers and expedite orders as requested.

Quality Assurance:

Perform daily QA inspections for in-process and completed space products.

Shipping & Logistics Support:

Perform shipping duties on a daily basis and serve as a reliable backup for the shipping department when needed.

EHS Support:

Act as the on-site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) coordinator for the facility as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

2 to 4 years of related experience in production planning or scheduling.

Technical Skills:

High proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, and Outlook).

Problem Solving:

Skilled in applying sound judgment and initiative to address scheduling challenges and recommend effective solutions.
