Job Description

Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate Job Summary:
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate to support a leading biotechnology company focused on developing innovative therapies and bioengineered organ technologies. This position is onsite in Eden Prairie, Minnesota . Responsibilities for the Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate include: Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and asset tracking systems to ensure accurate equipment status and documentation. Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration schedules, and vendor service activities to support operational readiness. Monitor open work orders, vendor documentation, and compliance records to ensure timely closure and GMP adherence. Administer user accounts, permissions, and system access controls within equipment management platforms. Support system validation efforts, upgrades, testing activities, configuration changes, and change control processes. Coordinate vendor visits, site access, and logistics while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality requirements. Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, R D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience. Experience supporting equipment lifecycle management within GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environments. Strong knowledge of calibration programs, preventive maintenance, equipment documentation, and data integrity practices. Experience managing vendor relationships, service schedules, and inspection readiness activities. Familiarity with system validation, user access administration, and change control processes. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion across cross-functional teams Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation:
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $85,000 annually based on experience
