Job Summary:
The Warehouse Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting company operations through the safe and timely transportation, staging, and movement of parts, materials, and equipment. This role serves as a key link between vendors, warehouse operations, technicians, and branch locations while also providing warehouse support as business needs require.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Logistics & Transportation
  • Deliver parts, tools, materials, and equipment to technicians, jobsites, branch locations, and storage facilities.
  • Pick up parts and materials from vendors and suppliers.
  • Transport returns, warranty items, empty cylinders, paperwork, and other operational materials.
  • Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, trailers, and box trucks. Warehouse Operations
  • Pull and stage parts and materials for technicians and operational departments.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse inventory.
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including parcel and freight shipments.
  • Assist with inventory counts and annual physical inventories.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas and company vehicles. General Support
  • Deliver company mail and documents.
  • Support warehouse operations during periods of reduced delivery activity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and prompt reporting of hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles, trailers, and box trucks up to 26 feet.
  • Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry and lift heavy equipment (up to 100 pounds) Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching required Ability to work in varying environments, including indoor and outdoor conditions, exposure to seasonal temperatures, and moderate to high noise levels in mechanical rooms, construction sites, and active work areas Comfortable working in tight spaces, on ladders, and at elevated heights when needed Manual dexterity required for use of tools and equipment Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods during a typical workday Visual and auditory ability to safely perform job duties and communicate effectively in the field
