We're looking for a Transportation Specialist to join our operations team and help keep freight moving smoothly across North America. You'll serve as a key connection between drivers, customers, and internal teams, helping manage freight, support drivers, resolve challenges, and deliver outstanding service. Every day is different, and every decision you make helps keep our business moving forward. What You'll Do Fleet Management Build strong, trust-based relationships with drivers. Support drivers with safety, service, technology, and operational needs. Help balance driver satisfaction and productivity while meeting company expectations. Quickly address and resolve challenges that impact service or productivity. Service Management Enter and manage load information. Schedule and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments. Communicate proactively with customers, shippers, receivers, and drivers. Monitor load progress and ensure accurate estimated arrival times. Production Management Dispatch loads to maximize customer service and driver productivity. Manage trailer availability and equipment utilization. Coordinate routing requests and trip planning. Minimize downtime while maximizing operational efficiency. What We're Looking For You may be the perfect fit if you: Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills Are highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities Stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly Are self-motivated and able to work independently Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience preferred. Transportation, logistics, dispatch, or fleet management experience is a plus but not required. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to prioritize and adapt in a constantly changing environment. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range starts at $50,000 to $66,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance. Total cash compensation range of this position is $60,00 to $79,200 Anderson Trucking Service is committed to supporting our employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
