Job Description

Job Overview Shipping Administrator/Data Entry will be an essential part of our logistics and shipping team. You will be responsible for daily transportation operations, overseeing driver scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and loading safety to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations (DOT). Responsibilities Coordinate and process shipments, including creating shipping paperwork, emails and completion photos. Maintain shipping documentation, records, scanning, files and proper product documentation (photos, adhere UL labeling. Communicate with customers and loaders to ensure on-time deliveries. Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays or damages. Assist in customs compliance, audits and documentation for DOT, MSHA, OSHA, and local regulations.
Data Entry & Reporting:
Schedule maintenance and generate regular shipping and maintenance activity spreadsheets.
Cross-Department Communication:
Act as a liaison between the Loading floor, and the main office.
Problem Resolution:
Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in delivered counts. Coordinates with loading supervisor on preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reduce downtime. Experience Proven experience in shipping and logistics or a related field. Proficiency in shipping software and Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with customs compliance and international shipping regulations. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage the shipping processes and support our logistics operations. Pay:
$36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
