WHO MAY APPLY

All qualified permanent and indefinite Title 32 Nional Guard employees who are currently working Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) 3 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Duties Help Establishes plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment. Implements maintenance plans and monitors progress of accomplishments. Makes on-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities necessited by unscheduled maintenance requirements. Ensures Modified Table of Organizion and Equipment or (TDA) reportable Line Item Numbers are properly managed, reported and accounted for with respect to readiness reports, property accountability reports, and system management. Ensures th Army Meriel Stus System (AMSS) equipment readiness reports are correct and submitted in a timely manner to meet Department of the Army (DA) reporting suspense. Conducts initial and long range planning on mters which include multiple process production, maintenance operions and equipment readiness. Ensures th unit Class 9 (CL IX) accounts are funded, budgeted, and executed to maximize readiness. Performs demand analysis on unit CL IX expenses to determine proper stockage to sustain unit mission requirements. Designes and maintains current maintenance priorities by Force Activity Designor. Analyzes repair methods and develops control procedures and policies to assure accomplishment of programs to meet priorities and deadlines established by higher authority or support activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Employment can be termined with a 30 day notice. In the event a permanent (Tenure 1 or 2) employee is selected, and is willing to accept the indefinite appointment, th employee will relinquish permanent stus. Management has the right to convert this position to permanent stus without re-advertising. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; over/comp time may be required. May require travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or terminion. The work may require the incumbent to drive a motor vehicle; if so, and an approprie valid driver's license is mandory. This is a Nional Guard dual stus technician position which requires military membership.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

Selected candide must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army Nional Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - CW2 (W-2)

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Must possess experience, educion or training which indices you can reason in quantitive terms, communice orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, and understand the terminology and da pertaining to the repair operions and processes characteristic of a production activity.

GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Must possess least one year of specialized experience the GS 07 grade level or equivalent th provided experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in merials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes; using current automion support programs to input da, provide stus of equipment, and monitor job order stus, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts stus, etc. Educion This job does not have a qualificion requirement th allows substitution of educion for specialized experience.
