Job Description
Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Order Management Specialist I, II or III. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.
Summary:
An Order Management Specialist/Analyst is responsible for monitoring and processing incoming sales orders, communicating order status to customers, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery, and confirming accurate delivery details to the customers. This includes verifying the availability of placed orders and ensuring its quality before shipment to meet or exceed customer expectations.Responsibilities:
Order Management Specialist I Process incoming sales orders accurately and efficiently. Communicate with field offices on the status of account issues and needs. Ensure that ERP information is maintained to drive production and supply planning, including current and past customer information, sales orders, and quotations. Generate basic reports and assist in analyzing order-related data. Communicate and coordinate with other departments, such as sales, planning, manufacturing, quality, materials handling, logistics, and customer service to complete responsibilities to meet or exceed customer expectations for timely order fulfillment. Assist with the integration of ERP and other order management processes. Conduct inventory information gathering at the customer level and perform inventory level monitoring, reporting to appropriate personnel. Provide strong customer relations and service to assist with customer issues and needs. Maintain accurate records of orders and customer interactions. Facilitate order management tasks that provide sample submissions to new and existing customers. Process consignment inventory billing orders accurately and efficiently. Order Management Specialist II Same duties as Order Management Specialist I. Additional duties asOrder Management Specialist II:
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules. Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and billing issues. Collaborate with sales and production teams to prioritize and expedite orders as needed. Process a high volume of orders accurately and efficiently. Generate reports to track order metrics and performance. May assist with training of lower-level specialists. Coordinate with finance department to collect past-due invoices. Support and assist organization account managers, pipeline leaders, and sales managers with all aspects of sales.Order Management Specialist III:
Same duties as Order Management Specialist II. Additional duties asOrder Management Specialist III:
Manage the end-to-end order processing cycle, from order entry to delivery, for complex orders. Develop and implement best practices for order management processes. Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for departmental and company use. Mentor and train new hires in all aspects of the position. Generate and distribute regular reports on order metrics and performance. Resolve escalated customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline order fulfillment processes. Collect and maintain regular reporting metrics covering all aspects of order management to aid in strategic business decision-making. Develop and present findings within and outside Manufacturing Operations Department. Utilize OBIEE for reporting.Education & Credentials:
High school diploma or equivalent and Minimum 2 years of related experience or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
