Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Routing Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in optimizing transportation routes, managing supply chain operations, and enhancing overall efficiency through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics and transportation management systems to support seamless logistics workflows and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Develop and maintain optimized transportation routes using advanced routing tools and data analysis techniques. Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and Epicor ERP to coordinate freight movements effectively. Conduct root cause analysis on routing issues, delays, or inefficiencies to implement corrective actions. Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve processes related to freight planning, warehouse management, and demand forecasting. Analyze transportation data using Tableau, SQL, and data visualization tools to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Support logistics operations by collecting relevant data, performing business analysis, and generating comprehensive reports. Engage in continuous improvement projects aligned with lean principles and process enhancement strategies. Requirements Proven experience with supply chain management, transportation planning, and logistics operations. Strong proficiency in data mining, data analysis skills, and supply chain analytics tools such as Tableau or similar platforms. Familiarity with ERP systems including Epicor ERP, Oracle Transportation Management, and AS400. Knowledge of freight management practices, 3PL (third-party logistics), warehouse management systems, and demand planning processes. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively. Experience working with transportation management systems like SAP TMS or Oracle TMS is highly desirable. Excellent research capabilities combined with business analysis expertise to support strategic decision-making.
