Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Intern will support the Supply Chain team through a combination of project-based assignments and day-to-day operational activities. This internship provides exposure to procurement, inventory management, logistics, planning, and supply chain analytics. The intern will contribute to departmental goals by assisting with routine supply chain functions, data analysis, and supplier-related activities while also leading or supporting up to three meaningful projects focused on improving efficiency, inventory accuracy, reporting, or overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity. Execute other tasks as assigned. Receive in material for the warehouse Organize and Cycle count inventory Issue material to ongoing projects. Look for new ways to improve Requirements Self-motivated Attention to detail Desire to keep organized and work flowing Willing to research/test several new scan gun technologies Problem solving without constant oversight Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus. Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
