Job Description

Transportation Specialist I West-Central Independent Living Solutions (WILS) is seeking a dependable, professional, and friendly individual to join our accessible transportation program as a full-time Transportation Specialist I . This position will be based out of our Warrensburg, Missouri office .
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
Schedule:
Varies - Must be available Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Hours:
32-40 hours per week

Warrensburg, MO Essential Functions The Transportation Specialist I provides safe, reliable, and accessible transportation while supporting WILS' commitment to independent living, diversity, inclusion, and serving individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities include:
Safely transporting passengers to scheduled destinations Assisting passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed Completing required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Accurately and promptly completing required transportation documentation Maintaining a professional, courteous, and friendly approach with passengers Managing schedules and time effectively throughout the workday Following WILS transportation procedures and safety requirements Representing WILS professionally and respectfully when interacting with passengers, community partners, and the public Performing other related duties as assigned The successful candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational and time-management abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
