Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our IT asset disposition (ITAD) operation. This role includes receiving incoming electronics and IT equipment, verifying shipments, recording accurate inventory data, and ensuring assets are handled securely from arrival. The right candidate has warehouse experience, takes accuracy seriously, and works efficiently without cutting corners. Because we handle customer-owned technology and sensitive electronic assets, attention to detail, chain-of-custody compliance, and accountability are essential. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming shipments of computers, servers, networking equipment, mobile devices, and other electronic assets. Compare received materials against bills of lading, packing lists, work orders, and customer documentation. Count, identify, and inspect assets for quantity, type, condition, and visible damage. Record serial numbers, asset tags, weights, pallet counts, and other required information accurately. Photograph shipments and document discrepancies, shortages, overages, or damage. Apply internal labels and route equipment to the correct staging, audit, testing, data-destruction, recycling, or resale area. Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation throughout the receiving process. Use barcode scanners, warehouse management systems, and inventory software. Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scales, and other warehouse equipment when authorized. Keep receiving docks, staging areas, and aisles clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company procedures related to data security, environmental compliance, workplace safety, and customer confidentiality. Communicate receiving issues promptly to warehouse leadership. Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed. Required Qualifications At least 2-3 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation. Ability to count and reconcile inventory correctly. Comfortable using computers, tablets, barcode scanners, and basic inventory systems. Ability to read shipping documents and follow written procedures. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to [50] pounds and stand, bend, reach, and move equipment throughout the shift. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass [background screening and/or drug screening, if applicable]. Preferred Qualifications Experience in IT asset disposition, electronics recycling, reverse logistics, or technology warehousing. Familiarity with computers, servers, networking equipment, and other electronic devices. Experience recording serial numbers and managing serialized inventory. Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment. Experience working under documented chain-of-custody, security, or compliance procedures. Familiarity with R2v3, e-Stewards, ISO, or similar industry standards is a plus. What Success Looks Like A successful Warehouse Receiver consistently: Receives shipments accurately and on time.
