Job Description

Overview:
R&P is looking for a logistics professional who wants to join our team in fast-paced and exciting work environment. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. This position provides Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Installation and Checkout Spares (INCO) management support to a Navy ship construction program office.
Responsibilities:
Manage the receipt of Schedule A Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), liaise with government entities and the Shipbuilder to identify incoming shipments, track shortages, research and answer Shipbuilder submitted exceptions, discrepancies, and rejects of receipts. Track all cannibalizations of GFE Maintain GFE database with Schedule A contractual requirements, tracking Schedule A date, Best Estimated Delivery Date (BEDD), Shipyard Preferred Date (SYPD), and In-Yard Received date by hull Track all non-conformances documented by the Shipbuilder from initiation through closure Manage the receipt of Government Furnished Material (GFM); prepare and provide material reports; order, process, monitor, expedite, and track Store Room Items (SRI), Operating Space Items (OSI), and General Use Consumable List (GUCL) Coordinate with Shipbuilder's warehouse personnel to track stowage, receipt, and inventory of COSAL material through turnover to the ship Maintain

Qualifications:
Associates Degree or a high school diploma with over 5 years of experience performing logistics in support of Navy ships Minimum 5 years professional experience performing logistics or product support work; experience performing logistics in support of Navy ships preferred Specialized experience: Integrated Logistics Support and/or Product Support experience in acquisitions with New Construction Ships and Navy Combat Systems; experience managing GFE and INCO material preferred Ability to work independently

Salary:
