If you enjoy making sure that product moves from the warehouse to the job site, this could be the job for you! The Logistician will analyze and coordinate the Organization's supply chain that moves the product from supplier to consumer. Manage the life of the product, overseeing activities that include but are not limited to, purchasing, transportation, inventory and warehousing. The ideal candidate will be driven, detail oriented, efficient, and have strong, demonstrated communication and follow-up skills. Essential Duties E-Mails Reply timely and efficient with a response to take action or what action will be taken Confirmation of information is correct to other correspondences Send request for shipping/tracking information within 24 hours after purchase E-mail all parties involved with anticipated ship dates, tracking numbers and expected arrival date Purchase Orders Confirm parts list/purchase orders immediately once received Verify all information is accurate Enter all purchase orders same day and no later than one business day Update the tracker associated with the purchase order RMA Review RMA requests to verify product needed is listed Follow-up with vendors within 24 hours once sent Once RMA is received follow all vendor instructions Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Assure materials unpacked are materials ordered Return items not ordered or damaged Record shipment date Contact vendor immediately if items are missing Email involved parties of missing items and maintain open communication until resolved Required Skills Advanced experience with Microsoft Office programming Experienced utilizing Microsoft Outlook for tracking, scheduling, notifications, and email communication Strong attention to detail Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities Able to follow direction and complete delegated tasks efficiently Education and Experience Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related field Preferred
  • Asset & Inventory Management (AIM) experience Physical Requirements
