Material Planner Location:
Arden, NC Employment Type:
Full-Time Key Skills Material Planning | Supply Planning | MRP/ERP | SAP | Inventory Management | Supplier Management | Production Scheduling | EDI | Supply Chain | Supplier OTD | Manufacturing | Excel Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain long-term supply plans and supplier schedules based on production demand. Monitor and resolve material shortages, supplier backlogs, and schedule interruptions . Coordinate with suppliers on recovery plans, delivery schedules, ETAs, and critical material needs . Use SAP to manage supplier schedules, delivery dates, inventory, and scheduling agreements. Track inbound/outbound shipments, supplier OTD, backlogs, and material ETAs . Monitor raw material inventory and optimize stock levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory . Manage EDI releases, exception messages, supplier portals, and delivery reports . Prepare and analyze supply-chain reports, inventory forecasts, and supplier performance KPIs. Support expedited freight, engineering changes, new product launches, consignment reporting, and tariff reporting . Work closely with Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Production Scheduling, Customer Service, and vendors . Perform root-cause analysis and develop solutions to improve material availability and on-time delivery. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent work experience . Experience in a manufacturing / supply chain environment preferred. Experience with material planning, production planning, scheduling, and inventory management . SAP experience strongly preferred . Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and planning tools . Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
