For a listing of Asheville/Arden openings: BorgWarner Openings Job Purpose The BorgWarner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The Production Planning Co-Op will support day-to-day planning, scheduling, and supply chain activities within a manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to production planning processes, material flow, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination. The co-op will work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to improve data accuracy, planning efficiency, and operational Key Responsibilities Assist in production scheduling and planning activities (daily/weekly schedules) Support material planning activities including demand vs. supply analysis Help maintain and improve planning data accuracy (BOMs, routings, lead times) Analyze inventory levels, shortages, and excess material Support supplier performance tracking (on time delivery, lead times) Participate in cross-functional meetings with production, purchasing, and logistics Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and supply chain Document processes and create standard work where applicable What we are looking for Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management Proficiency in Microsoft Suite MRP System experience preferred What we offer All positions start at an above market pay rate for that position.
