Samaritan's Purse is looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for logistics to liaise with construction staff, local vendors, and subcontractors to procure necessary materials, supplies, and equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring they're in top condition and ready for use. Rebuild Logistics Coordinator:
At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. In the role of Rebuild Logistics Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to: Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him Procure materials, supplies, and equipment for the Rebuild site Assist with material delivery to the project site and with check-in and check-out of tools/equipment Liaise with local building suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Identify work orders and communicate those to the Project Superintendent Coordinate material needs with Construction Foremen, Construction Workers, and Project Superintendent Perform follow-up for completed projects Perform safety inspections of teams at the sites Perform necessary safety inspections of vehicles and equipment Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to obtain Class A restricted Drivers License and a valid Department of Transportation Medical card upon hiring
