The Logistics Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day movement of transformers and electrical equipment to and from customer locations. This position will coordinate with drivers, customers, production, and management to help ensure pickups and deliveries are scheduled efficiently and completed on time. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can handle multiple priorities, stay organized, and quickly adjust when schedules or customer needs change. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule customer pickups and deliveries. Plan and organize daily and upcoming driver routes. Communicate schedules, locations, and special instructions to company drivers. Communicate with customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules. Confirm customer addresses, contacts, equipment information, and delivery requirements. Prepare and organize driver paperwork for scheduled routes. Ensure drivers have the appropriate delivery receipts, pickup receipts, and other required documentation. Track scheduled pickups and deliveries and follow up on any delays or changes. Maintain accurate records of completed and pending pickups and deliveries. Coordinate with production and shop personnel to determine when customer equipment is ready for delivery. Communicate incoming equipment information to the appropriate departments. Assist with coordinating emergency or priority pickups and deliveries when necessary. Help organize routes to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary travel. Monitor driver schedules and availability. Maintain organized transportation and logistics records. Review completed driver paperwork for accuracy and completeness. Assist with resolving delivery, pickup, scheduling, and customer service issues. Communicate schedule changes promptly to drivers, customers, and appropriate STC personnel. Assist with general administrative duties related to transportation and logistics. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation, shipping/receiving, or a related position is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple drivers, routes, pickups, and deliveries at the same time. Ability to prioritize work and adjust quickly when schedules change. Comfortable communicating professionally with customers and drivers. Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office. Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and records. Strong problem-solving skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently while also working effectively with other departments. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, and able to think ahead . The right person should be able to keep track of multiple moving parts throughout the day and communicate effectively when plans change. This position requires someone who follows through, pays attention to details, and understands the importance of keeping drivers, customers, and internal departments informed. Experience in the transformer or electrical equipment industry is not required . We are willing to train the right candidate on STC's equipment and procedures.
