08/17/2026 Logistics Specialist- Camp Mackall Camp Mackall, North Carolina The Logistics Specialist is providing warehouse logistics and unit supply management support at Camp Mackall in support of Army Special Operations Forces training.
Job Duties:
- Provide unit supply management support for testing, training, and maintenance functional areas.
- Conduct or assist Government personnel with research, purchase requests, issuance, receipt, tracking, and management of materials, components, and parts needed to support assigned equipment and vehicles.
- Assist with maintaining records, logs, reports, forms, and financial forecasts associated with logistical support.
- Assist with maintaining facilities, office equipment, administrative supplies, and files associated with the support effort.
- Support the full range of logistical services for Camp Mackall and Range 37 training facilities, including unit supply management and coordination of materials and supply requirements.
- Maintain accountability and accurate logistics documentation in accordance with applicable Army supply and property-accountability requirements.
- Coordinate logistics activities with the Exercise Support Cell Manager, Government representatives, and supported training/maintenance functions as required.
- Perform assigned duties in austere field conditions when required and navigate on roads and cross-country using military or civilian maps, road signs, landmarks, and/or directions provided by cadre or the chain of command.
Basic Qualifications:
- Meet the qualification requirement for the
Logistics Specialist:
minimum three (3) years of experience; Army qualified and in good standing with 92A Automated Logistical Specialist, 92Y Unit Supply Specialist, equitable Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), or equitable civilian experience and/or certification; and subject matter expertise on all aspects of warehouse logistical operations.- Current and valid SECRET security clearance.
- As a full-time contractor employee, be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to carry out contract requirements.
- Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States if not a U.S. citizen; be a U.S. citizen or legally documented alien without adverse background information and have no current or pending legal action that would hinder performance.
- Be able to provide information required for installation/facility background and access checks.
- Be able to perform in an austere field environment in all weather conditions, day and night, during field duties.
- Be able to navigate on roads and cross-country using military or civilian maps, road signs, landmarks, and/or directions provided by cadre or the chain of command.
