Job Description
Maintain and receive all incoming packages and freight; manage all functions of copy/mailroom; tag and coordinate placement of all high risk, new and old capitalized equipment; assist in campus bookstore as needed; and provide backup for campus receptionist as needed. Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 1:00pm (20 hours per week) Essential Job Functions Receive all incoming packages and freight; solve all related discrepancies and problems; reconcile invoices to purchase orders. Manage the postage meter in the Tarboro mailroom. Order all supplies for the postage meter; assist employees who have problems with these machines. Call repairman for postage meter when necessary. Maintain and report inventory of all equipment under supervision and signature of the Purchasing Agent. Maintain and report facilities inventory under supervision and signature of the Purchasing Agent. Provide backup for the purchasing agent as needed. Coordinate surplus sales as needed. Distribute mail between campuses and place incoming mail in mailboxes. Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
