Full-Time We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Materials Coordinator to join our US MgO team onsite in Wilmington, North Carolina. US MgO is a Magnesium-Oxide panel manufacturer, based in North Carolina. This position requires a strong emphasis on material and inventory management as well as production planning support. You will learn about our products, build relationships with vendors, and be knowledgeable about our inventory requirements. These skills will help you establish Bills of Material (BOMs) and maintain necessary tracking systems to support the production team and help ensure deadlines are met. There will be requirements to communicate clearly and concisely with the sales team and other internal stakeholders as necessary. The right person for this role will have strong time management skills, ownership over day-to-day materials management, production planning, and other duties as necessary. What You'll Own:
Materials Management & Purchasing Manage day-to-day purchasing and availability of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and operational supplies. Monitor inventory levels, material requirements, lead times, and incoming deliveries to ensure materials are available when needed. Create and manage purchase orders, communicate with vendors, and maintain strong supplier relationships and accurate purchasing records. Track materials from purchase through receipt and ensure purchasing and receiving records remain accurate. Identify and proactively address material shortages, supply risks, inventory discrepancies, and vendor delays before they impact production or customer fulfillment. Establish BOMs and monitor inventory planning, receiving, and continuous improvement of materials and purchasing processes. Production Planning & Coordination Assist with short-term production planning and scheduling based on customer orders and upcoming production requirements. Compare production requirements against available inventory and materials. Identify conflicts between customer requirements, production capacity, and material availability. Including additional functions in the following categories: Sales Coordination & Order Fulfillment Logistics & Shipping Support Systems, Data & Reporting You may be a great fit if you are: Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through. Qualifications Education Higher degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Required Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors, orders, priorities, and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Production, Shipping, and other department sectors. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365, with the ability to work independently and learn new systems with minimal direction. Experience with BOM management, production planning, scheduling, and/or material management. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and order information. Preferred qualifications ERP/MRP experience is ideal. Customer service or Customer Success experience is a plus. Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S understanding is a plus.
Compensation :
$55,000-$65,000
