Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic logistics and operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics coordination. Duties Develop and implement supply chain strategies utilizing tools such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and SAP to streamline procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations. Conduct demand forecasting analysis to accurately predict inventory needs, supporting production planning and reducing excess stock. Utilize data visualization software like Power BI and Tableau to create insightful reports on supply chain performance metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align supply chain activities with organizational goals. Manage logistics inventory management processes ensuring timely delivery while maintaining optimal stock levels through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and enhance operational efficiency. Perform root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans. Negotiate directly with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships. Oversee inventory demand forecasting to anticipate market needs accurately and support demand planning activities. Utilize business intelligence tools for quantitative analysis of supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization. Manage projects related to supply chain analytics, production planning, and process improvements ensuring timely delivery of objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean management are preferred. Proven experience of at least three years in supply chain management or logistics roles within manufacturing or distribution sectors. Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms; experience with MRP systems is essential. Strong data analysis skills with expertise in SQL, Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and macros), Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software. Knowledge of supply chain planning methodologies including demand forecasting analysis and inventory management techniques. Familiarity with procurement negotiations and vendor relationship management. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the capacity to present complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
