Scheduling Coordinator

Position Overview We are a growing trucking and logistics company seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling appointments, coordinating with drivers and customers, and ensuring shipments move safely and on time. Key Responsibilities Load Scheduling & Dispatch Support Plan, schedule, and coordinate pickups/deliveries Monitor load progress and proactively address delays or issues Maintain accurate load and scheduling records in TMS Communicate schedule changes and updates to drivers in real time Customer Service Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments Provide updates on load status, delivery times, and potential delays Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email Build and maintain strong customer relationships Resolve service issues professionally and efficiently Administrative & Team Support Enter and verify load details, pickup/delivery appointments, and notes Coordinate with operations, safety, and billing teams as needed Assist with general office and logistics support tasks Qualifications Previous experience in trucking, logistics, dispatch, or scheduling preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Comfortable using computers and learning transportation software Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service is a plus Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance and benefits package Paid time off and holidays Supportive team environment and growth opportunities Why Join Us?
